Redotex Review: Is Redotex a Safe Weight Loss Supplement?

Medically reviewed by Raymond Radiguet M.D.

Redotex is a controversial diet pill that works by proving a stimulating effect. The controversy stems from the fact that Redotex has been around for decades, but it has been banned by the FDA. That’s bad news for any health product. However, FDA sometimes bans good products on flimsy grounds. Is that the case with Redotex? That’s not what we are suggesting.

We are suggesting that it is important to do your due diligence by researching before you start using any supplement, especially if the product has been banned by the FDA. You can start doing so by reading this piece if Redotex is a supplement you might be interested in.

In this review, we are going to try and establish the facts and the truth about Redotex. We will also try to debunk the myths and misconceptions about the supplement.

Come along!

What is Redotex?

What kind of supplement is Redotex? That’s most likely the question that’s lingering in your mind right now.

Redotex is a weight loss diet pill that stimulates your body to be hyperactive. That hyper-active state enables you to burn fat and calories and lose weight in the process. According to the manufacturers, Redotex will help you shed off up to 6 pounds within a week.

That is one bold claim. Even the most brutal workout routines do not offer such promises. We are not in any position to rubbish the claims though. We can only research and draw and informed conclusions.

So, what if Redotex is truly that brutal to excess weight? What’s the catch? At what expense will your body be undergoing such rapid changes? Anyone with a brain will need answers to these questions before they start using Redotex.

Who Manufacturers Redotex?

Unfortunately, there is scanty information about the manufacture of Redotex. The supplement is sold and promoted by many third-party platforms, but no company has ever come out as the owners to the rights of production or distribution of the supplement.

The only concrete information about its production is that its production started in the ’80s, and it is manufactured in Mexico.

The lack of transparency in the production and ownership of Redotex leaves a lot to be desired. That mostly explains why the FDA banned it, although it widely hailed as the most effective diet pill within weight loss conversations.

Forget about the production and banning controversies for a moment, and let’s try to establish what this supplement contains and what it does to your body.

The product is already banned; Why bother? Try searching for the “Mexican Miracle Diet Drug”. You’ll realize just how popular it is, and how widely it used even in the US where its prescription is not allowed.

We have to clarify that possessing and using the supplement is not illegal in the US. The ban by the FDA only stops its prescription and acts as an advisory to the public against using it. It is not classified as a narcotic.

Redotex Ingredients

There isn’t much readily available information about Redotex Ingredients. That’s a red flag. We don’t settle for less though. We dug deep to find out what is contained in the supplements. Here are some of the compounds present in Redotex.

  • Norpseudoephedrine (d-norpseudoephedrine HCl)
  • Aloin
  • Tri-iodothyronine
  • Diazepam
  • Atropine Sulfate

Norpseudoephedrine (d-norpseudoephedrine HCl) is a strong appetite-suppressant. That good for weight loss. However, it has been proven to have strong psychotropic effects. In fact, Norpseudoephedrine in itself is a Schedule IV controlled substance in the US.

Tri-iodothyronine is found is table salt and seafood. It has been used to treat people with hypothalamic obesity. Diazepam, otherwise known as valium is used to treat central nervous system disorders such as epilepsy and anxiety. It offers a calming effect. A lot of people abuse it for stress and anxiety relief.

A significant part of the effect caused by Redotex touches on the physiological state of a person. It seems like the pill causes a psychotic jolt to your brain that causes the hyper body activity that we mentioned. In as much as that effect can indeed cause rapid weight loss, it can also cause serious psychological disorders. It seems like the valium is added to the pill to counter the effect of the psychotropic agents.

Having said that, we must mention that we found no evidence that Redotex directly contributes to some of the health benefits that most promoters promise. You’ll likely see the following benefits in the promotions.

  • Detoxification of the entire body.
  • Better metabolism
  • Suppressed appetite
  • Rapid fat burning
  • Diuretic effect
  • Weight loss

You might have suppressed appetite, rapid fat burning, and weight loss but not in the way you would want to. To put it in simple but a bit scary terms, these things will happen to your body because your brain is a little bit messed up. Regardless of how desperate you might be about your weight, that’s no way to lose weight. Keep in mind that your brain controls everything in your body. You’d rather remain overweight but sane, than slim and insane.

There isn’t even the slightest indication that the Redotex diet pill can promote detoxification and diuretic effect in your body. Even the psychotic jolt to your brain will not result in these processes. Any promoter promising such benefits is stretching the narrative a bit too far.

What Side Effects doe Redotex Have?

At this point, there is no doubt that Redotex has significant side effects. We are not implying that you’ll be wheeled to the ICU or drop dead when you take the diet pill. We are saying that it can cause significant irreversible damages to your body, especially your brain. Here are some of the side-effects you might experience right away after swallowing the diet pill.

  • Nervousness
  • Dry mouth
  • Restlessness
  • Diarrhoea
  • Vomiting
  • Fluid retention
  • Constipation
  • Addiction and Dependency

In particular, valium has a long list of side effects by itself. It offers a false sense of calmness and it can cause more harm than good. You might suffer the following as a result of taking valium.

  • Irritability
  • Dizziness
  • Fatigue
  • Nausea
  • Memory loss
  • Muscle weakness
  • Low libido and erectile dysfunction

When a product has such a long list of side-effects, we cannot in good faith promote its use. Since we do not recommend the use of Redotex, we will not talk about how it’s used and where you can find it.

Parting Shot

Our general thoughts about Redotex are quite clear throughout the review. We never rubbish or dismiss any health supplement based on what has been said elsewhere. Not even when the FDA has banned that product. We draw conclusions from our research and findings on the supplement in question. Our thoughts on Redox are based on what we’ve been able to establish about it.

We understand that most people end up using this unsafe diet pill out of desperation. Nobody enjoys being overweight. The pill can indeed help you lose weight, but risking your sanity and general wellbeing is too big a price to pay just to shed off some weight.
