NFSMI Applied Research
Welcome to the exciting world of child nutrition research. The National Food Service Management Institute (NFSMI) conducts applied research in various operational areas of child nutrition programs.
Based on needs assessments, NFSMI's landmark research is helping to shape the future of child nutrition programs by helping to define best practices and competencies for child nutrition program professionals. Research findings are employed by schools and child care providers nationwide. Research reports and the NFSMI Insights present the results of research in a user-friendly format with practical applications to achieving excellence in program operations. To find research documents, click Document Library on the top right side of the page and choose List Research Resources by Title, or search by the keyword "research".
