This satellite seminar will look at the USDA Food Programs and how they help provide high quality and nutritious foods to schools. We'll look back to the early days when donated surplus foods helped feed a nation in the middle of a severe depression and how today's USDA Food Programs continue to provide nutrition assistance throughout the country. Throughout the program, school nutrition professionals and USDA professionals will share their knowledge and experiences with USDA foods.

NFSMI invites all foodservice assistants, foodservice managers, foodservice directors, and State agency staff to view the satellite seminar.

| Print Materials |
Handout materials for participants will be made available through registration. Those registered will receive materials via E-mail approximately 2 weeks prior to the satellite seminar air date. The handouts will be archived here after the satellite seminar air date.
