Breakfast Lunch Training resources provide training for school nutrition assistants. Using research done on Competencies, Knowledge, and Skills of Effective School Nutrition Assistants and Technicians, the NFSMI Education and Training Division develops BLTs to address the skills needed by foodservice assistants.
Each BLT contains a face to face training resource. Videos are included to reinforce the concepts covered in the lessons. Once each Breakfast Lunch Training is completed, the training becomes part of our NFSMI/Team Nutrition Training program to be presented to groups around the country when requested.
