NFSMI Success Story - Rhonda Bodette
Date Posted: 2/27/2013

When Rhonda Bodette, Assistant Child Nutrition Director at Kaufman Independent School District in Wills Point, TX, attended training at the National Food Service Management Institute in December 2011, she had a goal of becoming a child nutrition director.  She was working hard to reach that goal and was taking the training plus NFSMI’s online courses to make it happen.

Rhonda began taking online courses in June 2011 but was forced to take a break to have triple bypass surgery. By October, she was at it again and has no plans to stop signing up for courses.  Fast forward to today, and Rhonda has now taken every online course that NFSMI has to offer and gives NFSMI credit for helping her advance to a management position.

“I don’t know what I would do without NFSMI’s Online Courses, they are great! They will help me reach my dream of becoming a Director,” she stated in a feature story in NFSMI Regional Update Newsletter in January 2012.

She finally got the director position she worked so hard to achieve, and credits NFSMI for helping her reach that dream.

“Thank you so much for the on line classes,” Rhonda wrote in an e-mail.  “They do help you advance faster.”
